Many of the delicious products in our hampers are made right here by our small team, ensuring exceptional quality and attention to detail. For everything else, we carefully select the finest ingredients from trusted producers—prioritising local British suppliers where possible, but always choosing the best.

Our award-winning smoked meats and smoked salmon are traditionally dry cured without artificial colours, flavours, or preservatives. Using maple wood in our smoking process gives a unique, delicate flavour. From sourcing to smoking and packaging, we focus on craftsmanship and attention to detail at every step.

At The Artisan Smokehouse, we’re always working to reduce our environmental impact—especially when it comes to packaging. Whether you’re ordering from our Christmas Hampers range or exploring other collections, your parcel will arrive in packaging that’s as thoughtful as the food inside.

Outer packaging:
All orders are delivered in recyclable cardboard boxes, sealed with paper parcel tape. We use paper void fill where needed—all of which can go straight into your kerbside recycling.

Ice packs:
When required, we include ice packs to keep your order cool. These are filled with distilled water and can be reused for lunch boxes and picnics. If you’d prefer not to keep them, simply pour the water away and recycle the outer plastic.

Hampers & wood wool:
Our hamper boxes are made from reinforced, coated card that’s fully recyclable. Inside, we use eco-friendly, kiln-dried wood wool to cushion your items. This natural material is made from excess spruce wood sourced from PEFC-certified European forests. It’s 100% biodegradable, and can be recycled, composted, reused—or even burned safely.

While we reuse outer packaging where we can, hamper boxes are always brand new to ensure your gift looks its best on arrival.

We deliver across Mainland UK using a reliable courier service—usually DPD—and you can choose your preferred delivery date at checkout using our simple date-picker. Whether it’s for a birthday, a thank you, or a corporate gift, we’ll make sure your hamper arrives when it matters.

Free delivery on all orders over £110 and just £4.95 for orders below. All perishable items are packed in temperature-controlled packaging with ice packs to keep everything fresh.

You can track your parcel and choose a safe place for delivery at checkout. Local collection from our Suffolk smokehouse is also available.
